Hey guys, sounds like some people aren't fully aware of what is going on with the league play, how it works, and the money pots. I’m going to break everything down best I can:
-Division Placement
Divisions have been organized down to only 3 competing divisions for this season.
This will do multiple things for the time being:
Increase field size
Increase side game payouts per event, per division
Increase end of season pay outs
Division 1- Handicaps from 0-11.9
Division 2- Handicaps from 12-20.9
Division 3- handicaps from 21-32.9
Placement is determined based off GHIN, other documented handicap history’s, and/or previous rounds with SevnTees.
-Handicap adjustments
After every round you play with us, we run that score
through our own internal formula for adjustments.
*This will not apply to nor change your official GHIN, this is just for internal SevnTees use. Any round played outside of SevnTees tournaments will have no bearing on your internal handicap with us.
Any time you shoot below your handicap, it will adjust by 50%. Anytime you shoot above your handicap, it will adjust by 15%. Example: If a 10 handicap shoots 4 strokes under their handicap, their new handicap would be an 8.
If a 10 handicap shoots 4 over their handicap, their new handicap will be a 10.6
-Standings and End of Year Scoring
Each round will be scored based off NET score.
The leaderboard will show your total strokes relative to par.
The player with the lowest score wins.
Only your top 4 rounds will be taken, giving the option to drop or not attend 2 of the 6 rounds.
*You must compete in at-least 4 rounds to qualify for end of season money pot.
-Side Games per Event
-Division based closest to the pin, played on every par 3.
-Division based long drive, played on selected holes.
-Divisional skins (gross score)
-Super skins (against entire field, gross score)
-Front/Back/Total. Division based net scoring for winner on front 9, winner on back 9, and overall winner. It is a pot based bet, and the winnings are split into 3rds.
-End of Season Money Pot Payout
The top players of there divisions will be payed out at the seasons end. A minimal of Top 3 will receive prize payout, with a deeper field pay out dependent on field size. This will be finalized and advertised before the start of the final round.
